Making Lemonade

Here is a gem posted on the Don't Get Married Board by Drifter

The saying goes "when life throws you lemons, make lemonade". Well, I been thinking about how this applies to the modern world.

Firstly, I refuse to get upset or feel guilty about something that I had no control over. So what if the US is heading towards economic meltdown, it's not my fault. Fuck'em. I suggested ways of fixing it, but I'm only one person and no-one listened.

Not my problem.

If they're going to give boys a shit education, I might as well make the best of it. Hell, I'll need a gardener when I retire. And it's less competition in the workplace. If they're going to make marriage a bad deal, I might as well stay single, retire early and travel the world. If they're going to raise taxes to pay for a socialist society, I might as well quit my job, become a student and study history for fun (I've always wanted to).

If they're going to devalue the dollar, I'll short it. If Hillary/Obama gets in, I'll go long on healthcare companies. I'm intelligent and frankly quite devious. I didn't create the problem, but I can darn well take advantage of it.

I have no problems with leaving this country if it gets too hostile. I don't feel like I have any responsibility towards it. There are hundreds of places on this earth I can move to and I can scatter my assets to make them untouchable in one form or another.

If modern women don't cook, because "cooking is slavery", yet they need to work to feel "liberated", then I have no problems going to the nearest restaurant and being served by a modern liberated waitress. If large companies have affirmative action plans, then I'll work for a more competitive profitable small company. If women only want to date bad boys, fine, they can pay for their own dinner. If they're going to make ridiculous DV laws, that's okay too, my home will be a female free zone.

For me, MGTOW is about using the rules of the world to your advantage. The trick is to never stay where you aren't appreciated.

This is the gist of it. This one UNDERSTANDS.

We have to learn this philosophy: to exploit the system as best we can. We do not have to carry the world upon our shoulders... anymore!

Quite right.

It is a far better thing to become invisible to women in this day and age in order to prevent a potential nasty divorce/breakup disaster. Chances are so great that it will happen (see California's 80% rate).

Do you think AW/WW would setup their marriage/breakup/divorce plan for a guy who they couldn't see? Probably not. Why would they bother trying to find a gold needle in a haystack? AW/WW would rather whine and complain about it because it's easier even if the gold needle was right in front of them. Then again, even if they did have the gold needle in their hands, they would still have the audacity to complain how it's too small, not shiny enough, the neighbors or friends have a bigger one, or it's not made of diamonds, blah blah blah!

But of course, I don't listen to what they have to say so it's much easier for me to live invisible and away from them as a "ghost."

Free from the weight of the chains.... ahhhh! I think I'll sleep in tomorrow! Hahahaha, life is good without someone yelling at me to get up!

Wow! that article hits WAY close to home. Men ended up with a much better deal when woman became "liberated" (assuming you didn't marry or have children with one) by forcefully taking over many burdens of society that traditional men shouldered for centuries. This Br'er rabbit is perfectly content in the briar patch in which he's been thrown into because to him its home sweet home 8-)
